Discover What You Were Meant To Do
“Something has changed. It could have been me. It could have been them. It could have been something else.
Whatever the case, it’s not working any more. I need something new, but what?”
Many of my clients have had several years of post college work before returning for an advanced degree and the great job that follows, at least for a while. Or, others are executives who find themselves in a situation where “something has changed”. But whatever has changed, in either case, has changed to the point where it’s not working anymore.
These are smart people, but unable to “figure it out”. Try to imagine a small child in a candy store with a hundred one dollar bills in their pocket—having a bit of a melt-down. Their frustration? They can have anything in the store but not everything. How to decide?
GETTING ON THE RIGHT TRAIN
If you’re on the wrong train, headed in the wrong direction, speed is not your friend. Every stop gets you further away from the work you were meant to do. However, on the right train, there are no bad stops. Some stops are better than others, but none is moving you away from your “calling”.
